Guidelines for a perfect Red Wine Gift Basket

Designing a wine gift basket is tricky, because in addition to providing the perfect wine bottle for that special someone, you also want to include foods that they can enjoy with their wine. White wines and red wines go well with different kinds of foods, and although everyone has different tastes, generally there is a consensus has to which foods go well with red/white wine. In terms of a wine gift basket, these foods must also be perishable so that they will keep over the several days that is required to ship the gift basket.
